Within the framework of the Erasmus Plus 360°ELEX project, Tecnopolis organised a training course for trainers entitled “Entrepreneurship for Youth Workers and Trainers” from 24 to 28 October at Balab, the “Centre for Innovation and Creativity” of the University of Bari, to enable Partners and Youth Workers involved in the project to develop and carry out local activities with an impact on the topic and youth exchanges in their own area.
“In a project such as Elex 360°, in which young entrepreneurs are the protagonists, we put Tecnopolis’ 30 years of experience as an incubator side by side with new forms of “non-formal” training and support in the field of youth entrepreneurship in order to enhance the innovativeness and skills of the Partner organisations (Italy, Greece and Spain) hosted by the city of Bari and Balab for a whole week”, Alina Maddaluno – Training Participant and Contact Person for Tecnopolis (Partner in charge of the Training) of the Elex360° Project.
Five days of lectures interspersed with testimonies, case studies and presentation of innovative tools, 10 participants from Italy, Greece and Spain, 9 modules on key topics (including Idea Creation, Running a Business, Fundraising, Training Methods and Portfolio Creation) to develop self-entrepreneurial skills and competences in young people.
Also on the 24 and 25 th of November, Elex 2° Project Meeting took place in Patras. This TPM, hosted by Mosaic // Culture & Creativity, has been focused on:
· Delivering final Research on key entrepreneurial competences and best entrepreneurial training practices.
· Working on guidelines for Youth Workers- Blended methodology for facilitating entrepreneurial journey of young people.
· Preparation for next activities: Youth Exchanges and Local Activities.
