SPAIN
Local labs of @elex360 project were implemented in the Spanish region of Extremadura by Fundación Sorapán de Rieros, from February to April 2023, in three different locations: Badajoz, Mérida and Puebla de la Calzada.
The labs involved 31 young participants in vulnerability, since some of them are unemployed and abandoned the educational system at a very early age, while others came from juveniles and foster care centers.
During the labs, the participants had the chance to increase their motivation towards entrepreneurship, through practical and funny activities focused on two main entrepreneurial skills: Self Awareness and Self confidence & Communication Skills.
Some of the practical activities carried out were: knowing themselves better through personal SWOT and CAME analysis, as well as practicing their communication skills through a funny role-play exercise based on the “Shark Tank” TV show.

ITALY
The experience of the series of workshops “From the idea to pitching” was implemented by InCo Molfetta and Tecnopolis in 2 differents locations (BaLab Bari and InCo Molfetta Association) involving 2 different target groups: young people 17-19 years old and a group of students 18 to 29 years old. The workshops were interesting, first of all, because there was a chance to better understand youngsters needs that don’t have a business idea and a class of older people who have individually decided to participate in the workshops because they already have a business idea and needed a training.
The thing that brought them together was the active and interested participation of both groups. Altough the participation was voluntarily-based, everyone decided to participate in all the 3 workshops ( Design Thinking, the Business Model Canvas and Pitching) and to actively be engaged by getting involved with the creation of prototypes with Design Thinking, building the Business Model Canvases of some of the innovative companies and startups that have most revolutionized and are changing the world, and coming to tell business ideas effectively.
GREECE
For the purposes of ELEX360 project, MOSAIC organized and hosted at its premises three local labs on entrepreneurship, reaching 30 students from 18 to 29 years old. Young students from Patras Public Experimental Vocational Training Institute (DIEK PATRAS), from the departments of Motion Graphics Design and Digital Marketing, participated in interactive workshops and tried some innovative and collaborative exercises about the importance of Creativity and Vision for aspiring entrepreneurs.
More specifically, they had the chance to work on the design of vision statements, putting the values of their future business in the front and learn to create narratives around them. In addition, they worked with Business Model Canva and Creative Project Canva, analyzing step by step some successful business ideas of international companies and then, working on their own ideas. All the Participants from the five organizations showed high satisfaction with the local labs, rating very positively the orientation to practice, the opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss in a constructive way, as well as the usability of the contents covered in the labs.
